Also you need one playthough collecting at least 75 specks of dust (on easy there are not enough to be found, so best to do this in hard), and one playthrough where you pick up NO specks of dust. Once for each mode (and the two achievements that can only be done in hard mode).
To get all achievements you need the finish the game at least twice. But I suggest doing these two after you've finished the game (with an older save) to not mess with the flow of the game/story. The achievements No One Is Home and Book Worm can be completed pretty much anywhere in the game, as long as you have access to a telephone (or a signal for Ray's cellphone) and Chuck's library respectively. The achievements Plantastic and Buried Treasure can only be unlocked during hard mode, and are only listed in that guide. Achievements unlocked by just following the story are not listed in this walkthrough. :) I have included links to all achievements at the appropriate points in the walkthrough.
